About JP Studer Insurance
Started as a mother/son team, JP Studer Insurance serves Southwest Florida and beyond! We’re dedicated to helping our community find Medicare health plans with benefits like dental, vision, hearing and wellness. We understand every client is different and a one size fits all approach does not work for everyone. As experienced local independent agents, we listen to you and help find which coverage fits best with a neighborly touch!
About Jerald Studer
Jerald was born and raised in Iowa where he attended the University of Iowa and earned his BA in Finance. After graduating, Jerald worked as an underwriter for a large insurance company for several years before becoming an independent agent. He enjoys educating his Southwest Florida community on their insurance options, then being there for support and guidance after they make their decision.
“As an underwriter I had a great understanding of the insurance industry and products, but did not get to communicate directly with the consumers. Now, as an independent agent it is extremely fulfilling to work directly with clients to help meet their needs.”
In his free time Jerald enjoys golfing, going to the beach, and volunteering at local food banks.
About Sheila Studer
Sheila was born and raised in Iowa and earned her degree in Finance from Iowa State University. Early in her career Sheila worked as a FINRA Series 24 General Securities Principal where she supervised registered representatives in their sales of mutual funds and variable insurance products. Sheila moved with her family to Naples, Florida where she shifted her career from investments to personal insurance products so she could pursue her passion of helping the growing market navigate the Medicare maze.
“My parents were both teachers and I feel like an educator when I sit down with clients and discuss their Health Insurance needs. I spend as much time as needed with clients to inform them of the many different products available in the current market.”
Sheila has been a resident of Naples, FL for over 10 years and in her free time is active at her church and country club, volunteers as an English tutor, and enjoys spending time with her family.
